I am going to suggest that we work thru committees.  I think that small groups can work well by email and occasional conference calls.  I invite members to offer themselves for committees. 

I see these groups.  “Committee" implies a probable long-term function; "task force” implies aggroup which goes out of existence once it proposes a solution to its challenge .

• Committee Investments and investment policy.  To be chaired by the treasurer, Lee.  David I know is interested; anybody else welcome
• Task force on statement of long-term purpose, chaired by Kathy.  Carol M. and Ann H. added.  Others welcome. 
• Committee on identification of causes.  Chaired by Carol.  others needed.
• Task force on policy for board member contributions.  
• Committee on external presence.  Includes Bob as secretary and Clara as webmaster.  Need others.

Kathy and I seem to be in general agreement that a central purpose of the Fund, all parts of it, is to promote the spirit of philanthropy, and provide opportunities for board members to continue to set causes and directions.
